Scripts You Can Read

I have greatly benefitted from the largess of other screenwriters who have freely shared their work – produced or not – for educational purposes. People like Javier Grillo-Marxuach. This is my attempt to do the same, as well as just post things in progress that can hopefully help someone – maybe even me.

These are all of the scripts I have finished and released to date. They are presented for educational purposes only.

Rest in Peace” – short film based on the short story “Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allen Poe. Originally written to be produced by and starring myself and other students from my TVI Actors Conservancy Class.

The Wedding Present” – short film, written for the 168 Film Project‘s Write of Passage contest in 2014. The verse I was given was Matthew 5:23-24: “Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.” It made it to the semi-finals.

“Walker’s Vale” – supernatural thriller, adapted from the novel by the same name from author John Zelenski. It is the first in a planned trilogy, going into production soon from Allegentsia Productions.

Trigger Effect” – spec episode of the 1-hour CBS drama Scorpion. The team must stop an electronic threat before it takes down the power grid for the city of Los Angeles, while Walter’s sister undergoes an experimental medical procedure at Cedars Sinai.

“Daddy’s Girl” – 1 hour dramatic, character-driven cable pilot. A heartbroken detective, desperate to rebuild his broken family, risks everything to rescue his daughter from the domestic human trafficking ring he’s trying to dismantle, never realizing she’s actually the one pulling the strings.

“Patient Zero” – feature length time-travel thriller. A disconnected doctor is sent back in time to stop the spread of a worldwide plague, only to discover that he is the cause, then must race to undo what he’s done before it’s too late.
