So, I had an audition today to play Cole, aka, the Dad, in a UCLA student film. Always nice to be called in, but some suggestions for student filmmakers…
Make it clear where the audition is at – if you provide a map, use landmarks that are clear and obvious.
If you say you’re going to put up signs to guide people to the audition location, take the time to put up signs.
And when you’re asking people to pay for parking in a restricted parking structure, stay on time so that they only have to pay for an hour, and don’t have to keep running back and forth.
