For a limited time only, Casting Director Jennifer Venditti is reopening an online casting search for the new film How to Catch a Monster, written and directed by Ryan Gosling.
The casting office is looking for a Caucasian or Bi-racial (must be half-Caucasian) boy, age 2-3, to play FRANKIE, a”feral” like boy who is constantly getting into trouble for trying to escape his school and house. Quiet and withdrawn, but with an expressive face and deeply active internal life. Almost reminiscent of a silent film character. Because of the lack of lines for this character, there should be an imaginative quality as if he lives in a make-believe world he created. MUST LIVE IN DETROIT OR WITHIN 3 HOURS DRIVING DISTANCE FROM DETROIT. Identical twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc. are especially encouraged to submit. If cast, you must be available to be in Detroit from April 22-June 21, 2013.
