Archive: Where You Can See Me

This is the archived page from 2014 of where you might have seen me in TV and Film

Looking for me in the crowd?  This guide to where you can spot me, whether I’m a lead or deep in the background, everything I’ve done in my quest to follow my dreams in Hollywood is here.  Updated weekly!

“Star Runners: Wolf Trap” – in this web series currently being edited, Lex Nakashima resurrects the comic book universe he created in the 80′s with a new fire and feel.  Set on a distant space station, a crew of humans must fight off alien mercenaries and unexpected dangers to survive treachery within their own ranks.  I played the ineffectual Sgt. Feeney, part of the duo that Lex referred to as his Abbot & Costello, along with the fantastic Dean Testerman.  Be on the lookout for a link soon to see the show that earned me professional status at SDCC! (plus we shot on some of the sets from the Firefly pilot!)

“Research” – after helping raise money with the Kickstarter campaign, I got the opportunity to appear on screen in this webseries from Adam Hall, director of the world famous Sudden Death! short film, that starred my buddy Doug Jones (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth), who you’d probably recognize more if he didn’t always appear under prosthetics! I got to be part of the test group of Blind subjects, taunted by the fabulous Barry Bostwick (Spin City, Rocky Horror) and met the incredible Gabe Diani (writer & star of The Selling)!  I can’t wait until this series see the light of… um, the web!

“Castle: Undead Again” – Right after I joined Central Casting, a call went out for folks who could do their own zombie makeup.  After having done my best George Peppard from Breakfast at Tiffany’s for last years Ft. Myers Zombicon, I sent them a photo and was selected by producers to appear in the episode.  Not only did we have a great time (Nathan Fillion & Stania Katic both asked if THEY could get a photo with all of US!), but I made it into the promotional shots for the episode, first released by Michael Ausiello’s TVLine!

“Applebaum” – Sadly, this pilot, starring Jay Mohr (Ghost Whisperer) & Rachelle LeFevre (Twilight) and directed by Chris Columbus, will never see the light of your TV screen. Based on the Mommy Mysteries book series, CBS apparently felt it was too close in feel to another show that they decided to put into production, “Made in Jersey.” Don’t remember that show? That’s cause it only lasted 3 episodes. In Applebaum, I am a “downtrodden person” who crosses in front of Mr. Mohr & Ms. LeFevre as they walk down the street, discussing a case.

“Lost Angels: Pilot” – I got a call to come in on a Saturday to film a scene from Frank Darabont (Walking Dead, Shawshank Redemption)’s new cable project, then titled “L.A. Noir,” starring the Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal & Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes. It was a Sturday shoot so we could use the actual Los Angeles City Hall steps, built in the 20′s. I play a Newspaper reporter standing next to a pillar in the back of a press conference given by the Police Chief Neal McDonough (Justified, Desperate Housewives) and Mayor Ron Silver (Alias). This show is coming soon to TNT.

“Pretty Little Liars: It Happened ‘That Night’” – While I appeared in this episode of the TV show, you never saw it. Nor did you see most of the other 30 of us that wandered around the town square (aka “Midwest Street” on Warner Bros.’ Burbank lot). In fact, I actually appear as a human flash in the window as I pass through the sun coming into the building, but its so bright, I’m nearly transparent. Still, I had fun.

The Wedding Pact” – this SAG ULB Rom Com from director Matt Berman stars Haylie Duff (Napoleon Dynamite) and Chris Soldevilla.  I was privileged to work behind the scenes as well as in front of the camera as background in several scenes and was featured as one of Eric Scott Wood’s biker pals, with the stunning Angie Everhart.  The film is soon to be released on DVD!

“The Client List: Cowboy Up” – In this episode, which will air on March 24, I was a Rodeo Attendee. I ended up standing right behind Jennifer Love Hewitt & Rebecca Field in one scene.

“Awkward: Cha-cha-changes” – I did a short (so far) stint as a Math Teacher on the first Season 3 episode of this MTV Series. I’m hoping to get called back in, as the show primarily takes place in the girls’ school.

“The Client List” – BBQ Patron – will air the end of April

“The Newsroom” – Romney supporter – will air in June

Mike & Molly: Molly’s New Shoes” – I was a mall patron in this episode that airs February 25, 2013. I am in a trench coat (that nasty Chicago weather) and you can see me in the mall walking near both Mike & Molly at different times as they explore the mall after an argument.

“Glee” – New York Hotel patron. Can’t say more.

“The Mentalist” – Crowd at a Sacramento film premiere. As you might imagine, a murder happens. More later.

“Revenge” – Stowaway Patron

“Suburgatory” – Chatwinian Businessman on Train Platform

“Bones” – Courtroom audience
