Had the premiere for the short film for The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) that myself and several friends from my acting class at Mosaic were in, at the Downtown Independent. Even though “American; I, Too” was a short film, the theater was packed and several folks from CHIRLA and the Latin community came out to support the film.

They even had posters for everyone, and several of the guests asked the actors to sign the posters for them.

Another nice note: the editor came up to me to tell me I was very natural on camera, it felt real and he felt it improved the film. Considering my whole scene was about 90 seconds, I was very complimented!
