I’m told that making your goals public and asking for accountability is the best way to succeed in your goals, along with having measurable benchmarks to gauge your progress. With that in mind, here are my professional goals for 2015. The benchmarks I’m keeping to myself, but as I achieve them, I’ll post that here too. So here they are:

Goals for 2015:

  • By November, 100% of income is coming from creative endeavors.
  • Get a good theatrical agent
  • Join SAG (I’m eligible, but need to pull the trigger)
  • Get a literary agent
  • Join WGA
  • Write at least an hour a day, everyday.
  • Book a recurring role on a TV series
  • Paid writing position on a TV show. Staff writer is the perfect goal, but I’m willing to pay my dues as an assistant first.
