So the latest episode of GLEE I worked as Background on aired tonight. Fun times. I worked with several people I knew, and, apparently, the lady I’m now dating, Angela Tesch, before I met her (she’s the redhead in the long coat behind me). I wasn’t necessarily supposed to be featured in this episode, I was just an Ohio ‘tough guy’ – the wardrobe guy about came in his pants when he saw my blue vest and insisted that I wear it and a scarf and nothing else to cover it over. But when they shifted the direction we were shooting, to preserve the illusion that we were in Lima, OH, and not on the studio lot, I was one of the only people who matched my original shot exactly, and the kids were listening to me (and not the set teacher – at all), so I ended up standing by myself and became the mark that the kids rallied around for their portion of the scene, which means I’m out there, very conspicuously next to Matthew Morrison (Mr. Shue) and Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Bieste). That’s twice in one season, I guess I’m on a roll.
