Today in 1953, House of Wax, itself a remake was released to theaters. It was one of the first color horror films and the first color 3D film. It starred a young up and coming actor, Vincent Price and his mute assistant, Charles Buchinsky, who would later reinvent himself as action star Charles Bronson.
